Today I received supplied motor from my client for my latest design project. I checked the motor label and found this code HU-60A-81K4. So I search all over the net and found out it a watt drive motor. Go to their website to look at 3D of this model. Guess what their online catalogue is in german! Anyway I manage to get the 3D data of this motor in STEP file. Download your copy here.

Did you like big bike? I do. American chopper one of popular series on Discovery Channel, highlight of OCC (Orange County Chopper) a running family bisness father (Paul Sr.) and sons (Paul Jr. and Mikey). I love when chaos hits the shop! :-P

I saw the rerun show featuring custom made chopper for SolidWorks Corp. It was cool and beautiful mean machine.

This beast claimed to have 135 horsepower and it beautifully sculpture in SolidWorks.

Last week my friends ask me how to model RC (remote control) wings in solidworks? He tried to model by extruding the sketch but it didn’t reflect what the real wings. So he email me this picture of RC wings for me to look at. After reviewing the wings shape, I told him he can model these wings by loft features. Let’s model these wings together.

1. Click New, Part and OK.

2. Click on Right Plane and click Sketch.

1. Sketch a polygon with 6 side, Tools>Sketch Entities>Polygon set diameter to 0.75in.
